KXWR Warrior Radio hosted a creative art activity on January 14 from 2 PM to 4 PM as part of Welcome Back Week for the Spring 2026 semester at Diné College. The event took place at the Student Wellness Center and was sponsored by Student Activities. KXWR provided old vinyl records and used CDs for students to paint and turn into artwork. Several students attended and enjoyed a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere while expressing their creativity.
The event helped introduce students to KXWR Warrior Radio and supported campus life by creating a fun space for connection and creativity. Activities like this allow KXWR to engage with Diné College students outside of the studio and build awareness of the station across campus. KXWR is proud to take part in Welcome Back Week and looks forward to supporting more student events throughout the Spring 2026 semester.
